Did you know that there is a difference between moisturizing and hydrating your skin? The goal of both is to help your skin get enough water for happier and healthier skin.
Moisturizers help to lock in the moisture from escaping our skin and smooth out the surface of the skin. They take rich ingredients such as Ceramides, Essential Fatty Acids & Squalane to nourish and moisturize your skin.
Hydrators on the other hand, attract water to our skin to increase their water content within the skin cells. Once hydration levels are improved your skin can start absorbing moisture more effectively. Hydrators use ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and Poly Glutamic Acid to plump skin and help with fine lines.
Many products today have both hydrators and moisturizers, but how do you know which one you need?
If your skin feels normal, but not plump or feels/look a bit dull, try a moisturizer like these๐
If your skill feels parched, dehydrated, dry, irritated or too tight, try a hydrating product like these ๐
