** How to use a face powder wet

So excited that we launched our Cashmere Complexion Compact Powder Foundation this campaign. A fantastic powder that comes in 16 different shades with 3 different undertones.
This skin-hugging, weightless pressed powder foundation can be worn wet and dry, leaving skin flawlessly silky and smooth. Perfect for on the go and touch-ups, your effortless Cashmere Complexion just got easier. Richly infused with skin-loving ingredients and amino acid-coated pigments, this formula helps to control shine, keeping your complexion looking fresh and perfected with lasting wear. It can be used as a Foundation and as a buildable Setting Powder. The silky-smooth formula allows for quick and easy, seamless touch-ups.
This product is formulated with 5 key ingredients including Vegan Collagen, Chamomile Extract, Lavender Oil, Artiichoke Extract and shine controlling amino acide coated pigments.
What I love about this powder is the fact that you can use it wet or dry. Remember, only wet your powder if it states that it is a formula that can be used wet otherwise you may be in for a slightly frustrating mess.
Different ways to apply our Cashmere Complexion Compact Powder Foundation:
For a light sheer finish, use your powder brush and simply apply a little all over for shine control
For slightly more coverage, use the included sponge applicator and apply all over face
For a buildable medium coverage simply dampen your sponge (not dripping) swipe on the powder and apply. Make sure you blend as needed. After I like to let my sponge dry before placing it back into the sponge chamber, but you should be able to put it into the chamber right away to dry. I just like drying it outside.
Additional tips:
- Make sure you allow sufficient time for your skin care products + primer to absorb correctly before applying
-For best results choose an appropriate primer for your skin and needs - Finish with a quick misting of your favourite finishing spray – I’m about to try our newest belif x VDL Glow and Mist!

Hope everyone is well! I have a little story to give you a giggle this Sunday.
About a week ago, Nelson (my hubby for those who don’t know me very well) went out for groceries and I asked him to pick up a Cassava as my cooking experiment for the week. He comes home with a Yellow Yam thinking that it was the same as a cassava as they look somewhat similar.
WELL me being me, yesterday I decided to cook this yellow yam and just quickly peeked at recipes online and they all said, peel and boil. SO I thought.. alright, let’s peel and boil and did not think to read or research any further. After all, it’s a yam, what could it do to me?
BIG. MISTAKE.
So I set up my camera to film everything (with plans to put this onto my vlog channel) and commence chatting and peeling the yellow yam with my veggie peeler and then I wash it.
Harmless right? WRONG!!!!
I start to slice and dice and after a few minutes my hands started to itch. I’m not talking oh it’s a little itch…it’s like tiny-little-prickly-fire-hands-walking-all-over-my-hands type of itch. So I quickly run them under cold water..not helpful. Then I go online and further research this symptom with yellow yams and it turns out that the juice from this yam can cause itching. The juice that I showed in my video that was “oh wow it’s so cool,it has a soapy texture and commence to rub it all over my hands juice” ::insert eyeroll::
Someone online suggested Salt.
I salt and rub my hands with so much vigor that I am now starting a wonderful salt exfoliation.
Temporary, but no real relief.
I desperately try to think who do I know that could have possibly cooked this yellow yam before and my mind immediately goes to my awesome friend Ann, who is a great cook and is from Jamaica (most of the recipes I saw were Jamaican Yellow Yam recipes)
I msg her. No reply.
I text her. No reply
I called her. Voice mail
Just as I was about to call my UPS driver who is also from Jamaica – LOL YES I was that desperate – I see Ann’s name pop up on my phone. It was literally like a moment where I felt hope rise in my chest as my hands felt like they were burning they were so itchy even with ice packs on them.
I don’t even remember If I even said hi….but the convo went something like this.
M: Have you ever worked with yellow yams?
A: Yes…
M: HOW DO YOU STOP YOUR HANDS FROM ITCHING?????
A: :Bursts into laughter:
My husband joins her in this fit of laughter
yeah….apparently it’s common. SO Ann Marie and her friends between giggles told me to use a little oil and massage it into my hands.
So I did that..and took an allergy pill.
Relief at last.
She promised me that I would cook these yams again as they are really tasty and I’ll enjoy them. LOL I think next time I’ll leave it to a professional to cook them for me.
SO! Moral of the story. Salt and vegetable oil makes a GREAT exfoliator and moisturizing mask for your hands as mine felt incredibly soft and smooth the rest of the day. I may use sugar instead of salt next time for exfoliation purposes.

TLDR: Didn’t research yellow yams and thought my hand were going to burn off from itching. Use oil or gloves before peeling.
