Vegan beauty and clean beauty are becoming more and more popular in the world of skincare. People are looking for more natural ways to take care of the skin and address skin care concerns with less impact on the environment.
Avon Canada announced earlier on this year that they will be introducing Farm Rx to our skin care collection as a clean and vegan alternative to traditional skin care products.
In this collection, there are four products. The Super Greens Cooling Gel, The Super Greens Multivitamin Moisture Cream, The Bakuchiol Serum and the Bakuchiol Eye Cream.
I personally bought both the 4-piece trial kit and the full size of the Super Green products. Since my skin has been a bit more reactive over the past few months, using products that are more natural and fragrance/dye free sounded very appealing.
The Farm Rx collection has at least 85% natural ingredients and the key ingredient in all four products is the Slow Herb ComplexTM which is extracted through the Cold Blooming Method. The products also include safe synthetic ingredients to preserve the integrity of each of the formulas plus they do not include any parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, sulfates, artificial dyes, fragrances and are used in animal testing.
Upon first impression I was immediately won over by the packaging of the Trial Kit. The packaging is certified by the FSC as responsibly sourced carton but my absolute favourite was the tiny vial of Bakuchiol Serum. It’s incredibly cute looking almost toy-like, I think the first word that immediately came to mind was…Kawaii 💕
